Why Born Wicked is on My TBR
Born Wicked is on my TBR for the obvious reason — it’s a YA about witches. But beyond that, it seems to offer a distinctive perspective on female agency within a patriarchal society, set against the backdrop of 1890s New England. And if you’ve spent any time on Always Eventually, you know I’m a fan of stories that center strong female protagonists. The themes feel closely aligned with Forgotten Cove — secrecy, control, and an element of forbidden romance — which makes me even more curious. Born Wicked has a lot of promise, and I’m excited to finally crack this one open.
